The game and this test
TypeKO is operated by Campbell Barlow and is currently a friends-and-family test of an adult typing game. By using it, you agree to these terms. Features may change, faults may occur, and test scores or progress may need to be corrected or reset. Contact Campbell through your invitation channel for questions.
Accounts and public names
Keep your sign-in details secure and use only accounts you are authorised to access. Choose a nickname that does not impersonate another person or expose private information. Nicknames, results, profiles, trophies and cosmetic collections are public; the privacy policy explains how information is used.
Fair play and respectful conduct
Do not use bots, macros, automated typing, manipulated submissions, multiple identities or cleared guest storage to bypass attempt limits or gain an unfair advantage. Racist, hateful, derogatory, harassing or discriminatory names are prohibited, as are threats, impersonation and sharing someone else's private information. Automated name checks are a safeguard, not a guarantee that every abusive name will be caught. The operator may remove abusive names or invalid results, restrict accounts, or withdraw rewards to protect fair play.
Leaderboards and challenges
Arena and One-Shot use separate rankings. One-Shot allows one daily attempt and one weekly attempt; starting to type uses that attempt, even if you leave before finishing. Connection failures do not automatically grant another attempt. Rankings and rewards depend on validated results and the rules shown in the game. Periods reset at 6pm UK time, with weekly periods starting on Monday. Suspicious results may be reviewed or removed.
Gems and cosmetics
Gems and cosmetic unlocks are virtual game rewards. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money and do not grant ownership of artwork or intellectual property. Cosmetic unlocks do not improve typing scores. No real-money gem purchases are offered in this test. Rewards, catalogue availability and game balance may change; any future paid offers will have separate purchase information and applicable consumer protections.
Content and availability
TypeKO's branding, passages and artwork belong to their respective rights holders. You may use the game for personal play, but may not redistribute its assets without permission. We aim to keep the game working but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that test progress will never be lost.
Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to those protections, TypeKO is provided as a test service without a guarantee of particular results. These terms do not remove any mandatory consumer rights or rights to use courts available under applicable law.
Updates and leaving
You may stop playing at any time and request account deletion using the contact channel described in the privacy policy. Material changes to these terms will be communicated in the game before they apply where appropriate. The date above records the latest revision.
